When I first started following strongman, Rehband was already a major presence in the sport. Their equipment was used by many top athletes, including Hafþór Björnsson, and the brand naturally became one I turned to when I started training myself.
Since then, I've been using their equipment for over six years, both in training and competition. Years of use have allowed me to truly experience their quality, support, and especially their durability, in the sometimes demanding conditions of strongman.
In 2026, this relationship with the brand took on a new dimension with the establishment of an official partnership with Rehband. This collaboration now allows me to benefit from their support, to test and promote their equipment, and also to provide them with my feedback as a strongman athlete.
A partnership built around a brand I used long before being sponsored by them.

Progressing in strongman also requires access to the right equipment. And in France, some pieces used in major international competitions remain difficult to find.
Part of the project therefore consists of creating, importing, and making specific equipment accessible, by working with people who share this desire to develop the discipline.
HARDWARE & DEVELOPMENT
SLATER STRENGTH IN FRANCE
TRAIN WITH THE EQUIPMENT OF THE GREATEST COMPETITIONS.
In strongman, equipment is an integral part of performance. Dimensions, diameter, grip, or behavior of an apparatus can completely change an event. Being able to train on equipment identical or similar to that found at the highest level is a real advantage.
Cyril is the official Slater Strength distributor in Europe, and it was naturally to him that I turned to upgrade my training equipment. I thus chose to invest in several Slater pieces of equipment, notably a 12" x 8' Log, a 12" Monster Dumbbell, a 22" Atlas Stone mold, and Farmers.
This relationship goes beyond the purchase of equipment. It is part of a shared desire to bring more benchmark equipment to France and to contribute to the development of strongman, with training conditions ever closer to those encountered in major international competitions.

CREATING WHAT DOESN'T EXIST.
EQUIPMENT DESIGNED FOR THE DEMANDS OF STRONGMAN.
Strongman has a unique characteristic: not all events can be prepared for with standard equipment. Some apparatus are rare, difficult to import, or simply need to be custom-made to replicate the stresses encountered in competition.
With Cecil, we are working on this challenge by designing and manufacturing specific equipment for my training. The goal: to be able to reproduce certain apparatus and events as closely as possible to real conditions, even when the equipment does not exist or remains difficult to access in France.
This collaboration also allows us to go further: to design, test, and develop new equipment, with the ambition of creating solutions adapted to strongman and, at our level, contributing to advancing training possibilities in France.
